Razan Al-Musaed
Head of Scientific Committee

Razan Al-Mosaed was born and raised in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

She started her journey with Mawhiba in the third grade after passing the National Program for Gifted Identification Exam.

That summer, she joined a program that introduced her to the world of invention and innovation.

Since then, it has become her ultimate goal to participate in the world's largest science fair; Intel ISEF.

In 2014, she participated for the first time in the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity (Ibdaa) in the Biomedical Sciences category, and continued to participate for 4 years as she explored the different categories.

In 2018, I was finally able to participate and win 4th place in the Intel ISEF in the Environmental Engineering category.

After achieving her goal, Razan decided to develop her passion for scientific research by editing research for The Young Scientist Journal and mentoring high school students so that they could excel and win at national and international science fairs.
